Short biography  |
¡¡Born in 1954, She received her B.S. degree, M.S. degree and a PhD all in Electronic Information from Huazhong University of Science and Technology respectively in 1981, 1984 and 1986. In 1997, She worked in Conservatoire National des Arts et M¨¦tiers (CNAM) and
in
¨¦cole Nationale Sup¨¦rieure des T¨¦l¨¦communications (ENST)
as a
visiting scholar. In 1998, She was invited to do collaborated research in University of
Duisburg in Germany. From 1999 to 2001, She was invited to work in ¨¦cole Nationale Sup¨¦rieure des T¨¦l¨¦communications (ENST) as a visiting professor, guiding graduate students. In 2003, She worked in
City University of Hong Kong
(CUHK) as a visiting professor. In 2007, She was invited to do research in ¨¦cole Nationale Sup¨¦rieure des T¨¦l¨¦communications (ENST) again as a senior researcher.

| ¡¡From 1984 to 2000, She worked in Huazhong University of Science and Technology as a associated professor, professor and a doctor advisor. |
¡¡Science 2001, She has been working in Wuhan University as a professor and the director of the Dept. of Communication Engineering. Here, she has established the subject "Information and Communication Engineering". As the director of Signal Processing Lab, she has presided more than 10 research projects respectively supported by
National Science Fund
of China,
National High-tech 863
Project, and International Collaborated Projects of the National Fund Committee. |
¡¡She has proposed the concepts and methods of "
Discrete-Amplitude Signal Analysis
" and "Turbo-based Signal Processing", which were published on
Science in China and IEEE journals. |
¡¡She is now a member of IEEE in the Signal Processing Society and Communication Society, a senior member of
China Institute of Communications,
a member of the sixth committee of
China Signal Processing Branch,
a member in the sub-committee of
the education
guidance of Information Science and Electronic Engineering of
China Education Ministry, and a part-time professor of the State Key Laboratory of Information Engineering in Surveying Map and Remote Sensing (LIESMARS).¡¡
